1. What this policy covers

This page explains how RDAB uses browser cookies and local storage across the website and PWA. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

2. Strictly necessary storage

These are needed for the service to work and are used regardless of optional consent status.

  • Session/authentication cookies: keep you signed in and route you safely through protected app pages.
  • Security-related storage: supports secure request handling and account/session protection.
  • Consent status cookie: stores your choice (`site_consent`) so we can remember your preference.

3. Optional (non-essential) storage

These are only permitted after you click Accept in the consent banner.

  • UI preference persistence (for example, display preferences and convenience settings).
  • Feature-level convenience data used to improve in-app experience.

If you choose Only necessary, optional storage is blocked and known non-essential storage entries are cleared.

4. Consent choices and how to change them

  • Accept: allows optional storage for 365 days.
  • Only necessary: blocks optional storage and clears known non-essential values.

You can update your choice at any time by reopening cookie preferences in-app. You can also clear browser site data directly in your browser settings.

5. Legal basis

We rely on strictly necessary processing to provide core app functionality. Optional storage is processed based on your consent choice from the banner.
