What are community surveys for?

Each year we run a community survey to voice your opinions, suggestions and nominations.

For 2024, over 100 of you gave your feedback, and we listened! Last year you wanted us to create a fairer prizes system, host even more meet-ups and competitions, and explore more locations — which we did!

🫶🏻 This year we spread our meet-ups outside of the city centre, hosting them in Cantley, Lakeside, Balby and Adwick to name a few.

🏆 We hosted more competitions - we got the community started in the monthly Community Day League contests, we hosted more campfire showcases, and we hosted more in-person contests during meet-ups!

🛂 This year we introduced the passport and stamps scheme based on your feedback. It took a lot of trial and error but we nailed it and well.. look around!

🥳 We hosted more than just the weekends! We’ve stayed consistent hosting almost every raid hour this year, with spotlights and max Mondays trickled throughout. We also hosted more socials, and got started on pvp tournaments!

📢 We use your feedback regularly when we get a chance to share feedback with the Niantic team via the Community Ambassador Programme. An example of this is when we delivered (by hand!) a letter to the Niantic team with 7 pages worth of Donny feedback, ideas and suggestions!

This years survey focuses more around your gameplay experiences, your favourite events, the pokemon that you’re sick of seeing, and the trainers that have stood out to you the most.

With this feedback we aim to create a highlight reel and bulletin post to share your highs and lows of the year, and improve our meet-ups in the future!

Cheers 🥂
